The Monterey Bay Public Employees Trust (MBPET), offers three distinct and different medical plans:

 EPO (Exclusive Provider Only)

 Managed Care Plan

 Medical Choice Plan

   New employees have the option to choose the plan that best fits their medical needs and the needs of their family.  Continuing employees are allowed to change plans one time each year during open enrollment.

  The cost for the plans vary and so do the benefits. It is  important that you have an understanding of the basic structure and access requirements of each of the three plans.
